Conference Update: The Midwest Podiatry Conference

Conference Recap

Yesterday was an amazing day filled with very informative lectures and workshops. We had the certification exams administered for both Clinical and Administrative. Everyone did very well.

During the Welcome and Introduction session a free ASPMA membership was provided to a non-member attending the conference. Also there was an announcement introducing The Sandra Lohrentz Education & Resource Center. This center has gone live and can be accessed through aspma.org.

There was a Memorial Luncheon held in honor of our late Executive Director Sandra Lohrentz, which was led by Pastor and ASPMA Q&E Chair, Joan Gordon, PMAC. Pictures of Sandra were displayed as Individuals shared their memories and stories about Sandra. We will truly miss her.

Today is the second day of the main sessions. We will be looking forward to more lectures and workshops.

Live from Chicago,

Jesus C. Vazquez, PMAC

I feel blessed to have had Sandra Lohrentz, PMAC in my families life for the past 5 years. She was my friend and mentor in ASPMA. Every conversation with her was a memorable one because of the knowledge and insight that you received. She will live on in all of our hearts and when we need her most we’ll say “What would Sandra do?” Her reply would most definitely start out with “Well…” We love you Sandra and will miss you greatly.
